In mould label

IML (in mould label)

Kornelis supplies closures that can be provided with an IML (in mould label) to design. In mould labeling is a technique in which a preprinted polypropylene (PP) label is placed in a mould. The PP fuses with the label and takes the shape of the mould during hardening. Result: label and packaging are one.

Environmentally friendly communication on your caps or closure

In mould labeling saves the environment: the packaging and the label consist of the same material and can therefore be fully recycled.

Diameter options

A major advantage of IML (In-Mould Labeling) is that our customers don’t need to apply a separate sticker to the cap — saving a lot of time. Stickers don’t always end up perfectly centered on the cap, but with IML, this is never an issue. Watch our video below to see how the in-mould labeling technique works. Kornelis supplies caps and closures with in-mould labels in the following diameters: 63 mm, 66 mm, 70 mm, and 82 mm. Any label design you desire is possible.
