Kornelis present at Fachpack 2022

Also this year Kornelis caps & closureswill be present during the Fachpack in Nurnberg.

The focus during the fair will be on sustainability. Kornelis caps & closures has developed a sustainable strategy for the coming years, which is centered around going green and contributing to the realisation of a circular economy. Kornelis supplies as many products as possible based on renewable and recycled (bio) raw materials. Products made of mono materials, so a cap of polypropylene(PP) with a seal (foil) of the same material. Kornelis recently received the ISCC certificate for the use of sustainable raw materials.

For a growing number of products, a seal is indispensable: temper evidence offers the consumer certainty and reliability. A seal also ensures a longer shelf life of a product. Sealing can be done by gluing or induction with different materials. With PP foil or induction foil, printed or unprinted. Another good example is a polypropylene cap with IML (in mould label) of the same material. In mould labeling saves the environment: the packaging and the label consist of the same material and can therefore be fully recycled. During the Fachpack we are happy to present you examples of this and explain the various options to you.
